Last Update: 4.3.08
This loot list is dedicated for helping you gear up your warrior as best as possible. This list includes items from the
Burning Crusade expansion as of patch 2.3, but no raid content or pre-expansion loot. The list is split into the
following parts:
Please note: This list is by no means a "warrior's have exclusive rights to this" equip list. Please be considerate of
your group members and respect loot rules. Most of the higher-end items are useful to multiple classes and there may be items
listed here that, although useful on a Warrior, are possibly more effective in another classes hands.

Still strong in PvP and good in general PvE, the Arms warrior generates great burst damage. Rage generation
is solid without the Endless Rage talent and Arms is a good balance of mitigation and raw DPS. Tha major
stats for an Arms warrior are: STR/AP, Crit, and STA. Only +5% hit is needed to achieve the cap for 2-handers,
but it's very import to not neglect this stat. Even though instant attack weapon speed has been normalized a long time ago, the
mechanics behind them still favor slow, high max-damage weapons. |

Fury is still a DPS monster in PvE and is slightly less "squishy" then before due to the increased
STA present on Outland gear. The vast majoirity of Fury builds utilize dual-wield and although at one time faster was better,
the speed of the weapons matters little now, only their DPS and stats; some prefer fast to keep rage generation smooth and
flurry up, while others like slower hard hitting which do better with attacks like whirlwind. Regarless,
the stats that any DW Fury will look for are: Hit, AP/STR, and Crit.

With mobs hitting harder then ever, going deep protection helps immensly with hard hitting raid bosses and
heroic instances. Protection has never been a grinder/quester or PvPer's spec, but has become much more popular
due to the absence of larger parties (making it difficult for fury and arms warriors to find a spot).
Stats for Protection warriors are: STA, DEF, Resiliance, and Dodge/Parry. Only +5% hit is needed to achieve the cap
but it's very import to get enough +hit gear to reach this goal.

Warlord (Arms Warrior):
Arms has always been the monster PvP tree for the Warrior, but it has also become quite the PvE DPS tree as well. The synergy
between Arms and Fury makes for a deadly combination of raw DPS. Most Warriors will skip the 41-point Arms talent since rage
generation was buffed a few patches ago. The title build showcases a PvE DPS warrior, where as a
35/23/3 spec moves a few points around to
become an Arena powerhouse.
•
Berserker (Fury Warrior):
The Fury Warrior has somewhat lost it's way in the expansion. It still is a big sustained DPS PvE choice, but due to the lack
of large raids to support this type of class, and its lackluster Arena performance, less and less Warriors are going deep Fury
anymore. It's not that Fury is a bad choice, it's the realization that Protection is highly more needed in the smaller raid
groups and heroic instances, and that the Mortal Strike Arms Warrior is almost a must-have for highly competitve Arena teams.
•
Warder/Wardress (Protection Warrior):
More then ever, the expected role of a Warrior is going to be a tank. And due to the heavy hitting multiple mob pulls in raids,
heroics, and even some of the vanilla level 70 instances, going Protection is not just a good idea; it's become a requirement. A
Protection Warrior is still seen as the de facto end-game class/build combo and at least solo is less painful due to better
itemization. Expect to be very popular and be on the recieving end of many invites with a deep Protection spec.
